Researh activities

Research activities involve respected lectures and students in two forms: funded research or student initiated research. There are annually funded research bounded to every lecturers. The grants come from institution (USU), Indonesian government (DRPM) or other funding bodies.

Previous funding schemas that carried by the program such as
- DIKTI Fundamental and Applied research since 2017-2021
- TALENTA research grant since 2016
- BPPTN research grant since 2016
- IATE research grant in 2015

Researh Laboratories

There are three laboratories for research:

- Research laboratory of Embedded Systems
- Research laboratory of Power Quality
- Research laboratory of Wireless Communications
